Why settle for a plain buffalo wings when you can try these new pub-style Honey Hot buffalo chicken wings instead?
These chicken wings get the name Honey Hot because we've modified the traditional buffalo sauce recipes and made them Hot, Sweet and Sticky.
Franks Red Hot Sauce is absolutely my favorite chicken wing sauce and when you combine it with a little honey you get a nice slow mellow burn.
This grilled buffalo wings recipe is such an easy party appetizer and is an awesome Superbowl appetizer.
If you really want to impress your friends, serve the wings along side this new Buffalo Chicken Dip appetizer recipe.
Serves: 2 - 4
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 12 minutes
400F - 450F
Note: marinate 4 hours up to overnight for best results
What you'll need:
Combine the marinade ingredients in a glass jar and mix well.
Put the chicken wings in a reseable plastic zip bag and pour in the marinade.
Refrigerate at least 4 hours but it's better if you can leave them overnight.
Clean and well oil the grates of the grill and preheat to 400F - 450F.
When the grill reaches temperature place the buffalo wings on the grill and close the lid.
Check on the wings every couple of minutes and flip them and move them around on the grill as they begin to brown up.
Some will cook quicker than othes so you need to monitor them and keep moving and flipping them.
As they begin to brown up and about 5 minutes before taking them off the grill begin basting the chicken with the honey sauce mixture.
Baste both sides often and keep flipping them and moving them.
When cooked remove them from the grill and serve immediately.
